Komunikasi Kampus! is staffed by six budding young writers (plus 1 great poet) from the School of Communication at Universiti Sains Malaysia. Who are these people? Believe us, we’re really very random
)
~~~~~
Syarifah Hadli is one barmy chick! She attributes the lack of interest in her studies to her overt preference for sleep, and dislikes exercising – something her dad strongly advises her to do more often. Photography and Lomography define the word “passion” in her life making this professional photographer wannabe plan to “get married” only after 35. Although she thinks people who pretend to be cynical should be dumped in the sewage (so that the world’s population will be saved from these losers), she is hardly serious and often does not give a damn what people say about her.
~~~~~
Sensitive, sweet and passionate is how Shamala Suresh Kee would describe herself. Practically interested in everything, she doesn’t care less about being labeled a kepochi (Malaysian slang for busy-body). In fact, she’s proud to be good at being one. She loves the great German poet and novelist, Johann Wolfgang, and lives by his saying to: ‘Be bold. Boldness has genius, magic and power in it. So, be bold’. Life, hence, is too short for her to stick by a schema.
~~~~~
Everybody shout A A I N A A!! The solar powered freak she is, Nur ‘Aainaa feels alive when the sun shines on her. Cameras, music, mother nature, and other random things she currently can’t think of make her go crazy. Upon entering university, she discovered she suffers from a condition she named “Perpetual Brain Sore Syndrome” and is currently conducting a series of lab experiments on fellow course mates to document the newfound condition.
~~~~~
The dinosaur of the lot, Ng Eng Kiat is a jobless graduate currently dabbling with the young minds of his students in one of the undergraduate classes here. The work of a tutor, he insists, is not a job. Always taking too much than his plate can hold, he wishes this humble project to discover new boundaries as often as it attempts to cross old ones.

Ever the optimist, Aaron Rao sticks to his motto that “a confident man may not win, but a man without confidence, will lose.” Currently reading Film and Broadcasting, this Michael Bay fanatic is a “man of leisure” who plays the Guitar for pleasure, and worships the Bass with fervour.

Sitinurul Zahra is, in her own words, someone who enjoys the art of “pot pet”, something close to tokkingkok, without the kok of course
. She enjoys listening to stories about everything but has a very low tolerance for crappy conversations. Outgoing and sporty, this girl has a penchant for adventures: getting lost while hiking and bungee jumping rank high amongst her favourite pastimes. Often times, she thrives on “negative thinking”, but finds her sanity in the blogs she reads and some of her university lecturers who actually teach.

roar, roar, roar.. Yeoh Li Ying is a woman who thinks women are equal to men. She thinks having a dysfunctional brain is acceptable until it’s time to get serious. She happily admits being a person with no time management. Her message to you: “You can judge me whatever you want and I respect that, but please don’t go overboard or I will mess with you.” =)
