interested in the "reading" part that you mention before.
for me, if you cant beat them, join them!

the fact that youngsters nowadays are too lazy to read is unavoidable.
i hate books. but i love blogs. and the articles on the net too.

the "trendy" youth nowadays find that reading book is an act of social-suicide.
well, not all of them.
some of them are just too lazy to pick up a book. let alone buying them!

so the only solution is to go with the flow.
use the internet wisely.
ebook is not something unfamiliar to the people who knew how to operate the net.
it is less fussier and fun.
you can read almost anything.
blogs are readable items too.
youth find that reading through somebody's "journal" is fun and sometimes educational.
we dont hate reading.
its just the matter of the medium of reading that the youth nowadays chose.

dont forget.
we youth might not read the traditional newspaper, but we constantly logged on to the net, reading news from the pages of utusan online, the star online and so on.

take fahmi reza for example.
he knew that youth are totally not interested in history of malaysia.
he knew that youth today does not read anymore. they are into visualisations.
so he made a short docu that projects the other side of perjuangan merdeka that we didnt knew of
and he succeeded in grabbing the youth attention and at the same time, made them aware of the issue that he is trying to raise in his 30 minutes docu.

we youth are not really THAT shallow.. =p

anyways..job well done siti!
*clap*clap*
